Texas will get red-hot this winter: Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced a massive 24-date tour that launches with three Lone Star shows in January 2017.

The 2017 North American tour kicks off in San Antonio at the AT&T Center on January 5. The band plays Houston's Toyota Center on January 7 and Dallas' American Airlines Center on January 8. The tour wraps up in Vancouver, British Columbia, on March 18.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are touring in support of their new record, The Getaway, released this summer. Opening acts include Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue and former Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Jack Irons.

Tickets for the Dallas show go on sale Friday, September 23, at noon; members of the online RHCP Community get access to a special pre-sale on Wednesday, September 21. Everyone who purchases a ticket will receive a free copy of The Getaway.
