Fans of NBC’s The Voice are rejoicing with the news that Blake Shelton and Usher will reunite onstage at AT&T Stadium for the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas’ 90th anniversary party. The Unite Forever Gala concert will take place Friday, February 6, as the culmination of a year-long celebration.
Shelton, a current judge on the blockbuster reality TV music competition, is a four-time reigning CMA Male Vocalist of the Year and multiple Grammy Award nominee. Former judge Usher is the winner of 17 Billboard Music Awards, nine ASCAP awards, eight Soul Train Music Awards and eight Grammys.
The United Way of Metropolitan Dallas is giving away a limited number of free seats through its social media channels.
The two will perform together to benefit the United Way, an organization that raises, invests and leverages over $50 million annually in community-focused solutions.
“The 90th anniversary celebrates the nine decades of impact United Way of Metropolitan Dallas has had here in North Texas changing lives forever,” said organization president and CEO Jennifer Sampson in a release. “The Unite Forever Gala will be an epic evening, uniting a crowd of more than 25,000 at AT&T Stadium for a Texas-size celebration of our past that is equal to the promise of our future.
“It’s going to be big. It’s going to be unforgettable. And it’s going to be an incredible show thanks to PepsiCo.”
