A comfy T-shirt rarely qualifies as party attire. But LA-based Splendid bent the rules for a recent Tee Party, the opening celebration for its new store at NorthPark Center — only the second standalone boutique in Texas.
Not surprisingly, the interior reflects the brand’s Cali cool style, with natural wood fixtures and live plants. To expand on the West Coast theme, Splendid partnered with Ban.Do — a California-based hair accessory line — for the soiree.
Everyone in attendance received Ban.Do pom pom clips and a style guide on pairing jazzy accoutrements with Splendid’s colorful tees. But the real party was happening among the colorful racks and shelves stacked with Splendid’s luscious tops, bottoms, sweaters and dresses.
In between purchasing Splendid attire, sipping on Honest Teas and noshing on Hail Merry snacks, guests let their hair down in front of the Smilebooth camera.
Joining hostesses Joslyn Taylor, Jacinda Boneau and Anna Caplan were Tracy Achor Hayes, Erin Davis Smithson and Kristen Stegemoeller.
