We need your help to find the most stylish women and men in Dallas

Back for its third year, the CultureMap Stylemaker Awards shines a spotlight on Dallas’ most fashionable women and men. We’ve watched trendsetters in years past strut their stuff at a swanky fashion show and party, but now it’s time to find the city’s Stylemakers for 2016.

From now until August 19, 11:59 pm, you can nominate your impossibly chic female or male friends (or even yourself) by completing this submission form.

From this initial group of nominees, a panel of judges — including CultureMap editor in chief Jennifer Chininis and managing editor Anna Fialho Byers, reigning Stylemakers Nancy Koen and Javier Burkle, and 2015 finalist Julian Leaver — will select 12 semifinalists to move into the first voting round, which begins September 1.

On September 27, we will announce the six finalists from round one, and they will move into the final round of public voting to determine the readers’ choice winner. The judges also will select a favorite at the Stylemaker Awards announcement party, held at the Plaza at Preston Center on October 19.

The highlight of the celebration is a fashion show, in which the finalists put their styling skills to work. The editors’ choice and readers’ choice winners, announced at the celebratory event, receive a Plaza at Preston Center shopping spree — and bragging rights, of course.

So if you know some people who fit this fashionable bill, nominate them now. And then please ask them how they always know exactly what to wear, no matter the occasion.

Meanwhile, check out this video from last year’s Stylemaker Awards. Then save the date for the party, because you won’t want to miss it.
