Help us determine the most stylish women and men in Dallas 2015

Last fall we honored the most fashionable women and men in Dallas at our first-ever Stylemaker Awards, which culminated in a swanky event at Tootsies. Now it is time for you to help us determine the 2015 Stylemakers — those people who know just the right thing to wear, no matter the occasion. And they make it seem effortless.

From now until August 23, you can nominate your stylish female or male friends (or even yourself) by completing this submission form. From this initial group of nominees, a panel of judges — including yours truly and CultureMap Dallas city editor Lindsey Wilson, 2014 Stylemakers Melissa Rountree and David David Goltl, Cindy Morris of the Hall Agency, and fashion show producer and hall-of-famer Rhonda Sargent Chambers — will select 12 to move into the first voting round, which begins September 8.

On September 30, we will announce the six finalists from round one, and they will move into the final round of public voting to determine the readers’ choice. The editors and judges will also select a favorite at the Stylemaker Awards announcement party, which returns to Tootsies on October 15, thanks to our partner in this endeavor, the Plaza at Preston Center.

The highlight of the celebration is a fashion show, in which the finalists will put their styling skills to work. The editors’ choice and readers’ choice winners will get a Plaza at Preston Center shopping spree and a styled feature in a Plaza ad campaign.

So if you know some people who fit this fashionable bill, nominate them now. And then please ask them how they make it all seem so easy.

Meanwhile, check out this video from last year’s party. Then save the date because you won’t want to miss it.
