On November 6, Fashion X Dallas premieres at Fashion Industry Gallery, showcasing independent and emerging designers from Dallas and beyond, including talent from Lifetime’s hit TV show Project Runway All Stars.

A collaboration between Matt Swinney, founder of Austin Fashion Week, and FIG chief executive officer Matt Roth, the three-day fashion fest gives young designers an opportunity to show their work directly to an audience of potential consumers, buyers and media.

Expect to see contemporary American-made womenswear from Dallas favorite Abi Ferrin; Edo Popken’s distinct, Euro-style menswear; the remarkable spring 2015 collection from 13-year-old Austin designer Isabella Rose Taylor, who recently launched a teen line at Nordstrom; and innovative pieces by Project Runway All StarsAnthony Ryan Auld and Daniel Esquivel.

If you simply cannot leave empty-handed, you can browse accessories — or even design your own, say, custom boots with Teysha — in The Gallery, where myriad designers will be showing their wares each night.
