If faucets are some of your favorite things, then you already know the name Kohler. In partnership with the Hajoca Corporation, the company will open the first Dallas-area Kohler Signature Store in early 2017.
Kohler will open at 4640 McKinney Ave., a half block north of Knox Street. It's going into Knox Heights, a six-story, mixed-use project with 182 luxury residential units being developed by High Street Residential.
Kohler products are currently sold at home improvement stores, but in limited quantities. Brett McDonald, general manager for Hajorca, says the store will allow customers to see and touch the full line of Kohler products.
The Kohler Signature Store will be a one-stop bath and kitchen experience, with the chance to get hands-on experience with hundreds of products from Kohler brands showcased in fully designed bath and kitchen suites. The store will service the needs of both trade professionals and consumers, and will offer full design services for both kitchen and bath.
Additionally, the store features functioning products from Kohler, Kallista, Robern, Kohler Surfaces tile and stone, and Kohler custom vanities.
Kohler is decisively next-generation in the world of toilets, with cleansing seats and intelligent toilets, offering features such as warm-water cleansing, heated seats, a nightlight in the toilet, a touch-free remote, hands-free flushing, and an automatic deodorizer that activates as soon as you sit.
One of America’s oldest and largest privately held companies, Kohler manufactures kitchen and bath products, engines and power generation systems, and tile and home interiors. It's also an international host to award-winning hospitality and world-class golf destinations.
Hajoca started in 1858 as a place to grind key stops for plumbers in Philadelphia. It's the nation’s largest privately held, American-based wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, and industrial supplies, operating under 50 different names in close to 400 locations nationwide.
