App-based luxury car service Silvercar is opening a pop-up store in Austin at the end of February for the Grand-Am Road Racing event and SXSW. From February 28-March 18, you can rent the silver Audi A4s just outside Austin-Bergstrom International airport grounds for $75 a day.

The inaugural Grand-Am races take place the weekend of March 1-2 at the Circuit of Americas, while SXSW runs in multiple locations throughout the city March 8-17. SXSW’s massive growth has been a boon for the Austin community, with nearly  $170 million generated in 2011 — a 47 percent increase from 2010. But with that comes travel headaches for visitors — like finding a cab at the airport, for example.

Austin-based Silvercar launched a low-hassle car rental service at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport in January with a fleet of more than 200 new silver Audi A4s equipped with Wi-Fi hotspots, Sirius XM radio and Google Earth navigation. The app allows users to schedule and pick up a car without even speaking to a representative. The return service can also be done with little to no human interaction.

Reservations for the A4s in Austin are available as space allows.
