Joanna Gaines, who? Ebby Halliday realtor Lindsay Hagan just listed her own home at 5007 Purdue Ave. in Briarwood, and it's a prime example that you don't have to live in the country to bask in the glory of a modern farmhouse and all its charms.

While this 3,088-square-foot home was already in the process of a remodel when Hagan purchased it, it only took a few of the initial design elements to unlock her inner interior designer.

"The metal roof was a start for the design plan," Hagan says. "I also loved the Restoration Hardware sconces for the front exterior, and the railing on the front porch was a design that I have always gravitated toward."

Some hot-ticket items that make this spacious home worthy of its $915,000 price tag? Plantation shutters, casement windows, Kohler fixtures, designer lighting, Carrara marble, and quartz surfaces, just to name a few. And, if you can't picture yourself relaxing in the master suite's chic tub after work, there may be no hope for you to unwind after all.

Needless to say, every inch of this home is styled to perfection, including two living areas, four bedrooms, and four full bathrooms. The fourth bedroom is located over the garage, and while it is connected to the house, it can be accessed by a side entrance. It also has a small kitchenette, which is perfect for a mother-in-law suite or even guests who are staying for a while.

Some additional standouts include the original 1939 wood floors, the overly spacious size of the bedrooms, and the copious amounts of natural light. And while you'll undoubtedly be lusting over the impeccable greenery on display inside the home, the exterior has seven trees located throughout the property.

"No, it does not necessarily look like other homes in the neighborhood, but that is what sets it apart," Hagan says. "I went with a design that I loved, incorporating a little of that cottage look with a modern flair, and I am so pleased with how it all turned out."
