Antique lovers will have to travel a bit farther than the Dallas Design District to find City View Antique Mall after October 30. How far, however, is still to be determined.

Owners Ellen Paulsen and Joan Williams confirmed today that they are moving out of their current digs at 909 N. Riverfront Blvd. because the building's owner wants to reconstruct it.

Williams says they are exploring two possible options for the mall's next location, but both are outside of the Design District

For years, City View Antique Mall has been a popular destination for high-end dealers such as Milton Kent on Knox-Henderson and Kathy Flories in Fort Worth. The store offers everything from furniture and artwork to accessories and collectible china.

"We are not closing, just moving," Williams says.

The Design District has seen a flurry of activity lately. Zeus Comics recently moved into the outlet center on Inwood Road, and baby boomers are snatching up loft apartments. Coming soon: FT33, from tattooed chef Matt McCallister.
