Simi Wine Dinner at Jasper's Plano
This collaborative wine dinner features passed appetizers and four courses including oysters, red snapper, and pork collar au poivre. Alongside each dish is an expertly paired wine from the Simi portfolio that winemaker Lisa Evich is on hand to speak about. Tickets are $95, and the dinner begins at 6:30 pm. Herman Marshall Whiskey Dinner at Tillman's Roadhouse
Celebrity chef Jeffrey Kollinger and executive chef Michael Morabito have prepared a custom four-course dinner that complements Herman Marshall whiskey "flawlessly." The evening begins with a 6:30 pm reception followed by a 7:00 pm dinner. Reservations can be made by calling 214-942-0988.

Big Texas Beer Fest at Fair Park
The sixth annual event taking place in the automobile building features 120 breweries and over 500 beers including rare beers, one-offs, and special firkins. There are also food trucks, local artisanal food vendors, and local and national music acts performing on an outdoor stage. Tickets start at $35 and doors open at 6 pm on Friday and 1 pm on Saturday.

Fantesca Wine Dinner at III Forks
III Forks presents an exclusive wine dinner featuring the wines of Fantesca Winery, created by the legendary Heidi Barrett. Courses include lobster fritters, spring truffles, Great Plains bison "cottage pie," and more. Tickets are $200, and the dinner begins at 6:30 pm. Reservations can be made by calling 972-267-1776.

Saturday, April 1

Experience Lowest Greenville
This free, interactive day of fun gives people a great taste of all that they can experience in this distinctive Dallas district. Expect workout demonstrations and lots of delicious food and drinks from Social Mechanics, Bullzerk, Crisp Salad Co., Steel City Pops, Joy Macarons, HG Sply Co., and more. The event lasts from 8 am to 2 pm.

Crawfish Boil at Little Woodrow's
Enjoy crawfish season with a classic "mudbug munch" each Saturday and Sunday while these tasty treats are in season. The boiling begins at 11 am and the crawfish are served up cajun style until they're gone.
