Good Neighbor Brews

This week seems to be a pretty sleepy week on the food events front. Could it be that folks are saving up for an epic Easter brunch? Whatever the case may be, it seems like IPA and fresh seafood are in the forecast.

Thursday, April 13

IPA Beer Tournament at Eno's Pizza Tavern
It's a bracket-style beer tasting tournament with California, Colorado, and Texas battling head-to-head to find out which state has the best IPA. Through six rounds, participants blind taste test four beers from each state and vote for their favorites until one IPA comes out on top. Tickets are $35, and the fun begins at 7 pm.

Saturday, April 15

Bike + Brunch at Vital Fitness Studio
Put a spin on your weekend with a calorie-blasting 45-minute performance ride in The Joule's cycling studio, immediately followed by a delicious brunch at Americano. Brunch comes complete with coffee, a mimosa, Nutella doughnuts, and a choice of entrée from a prix-fixe menu. Tickets are $40 a person, and the cycling class starts at 11:15 am.

Eastside Brew Bus Tour
The tour visits three local breweries — Four Bullets, Good Neighbor Brews, and Lakewood Brewing Company. Guests sample several brews at each place and learn how they are made. Guests also have the opportunity to enjoy grub from some of the area's best food trucks parked at some of the breweries. Tickets are $55, and guests are instructed to arrive at Lakewood Brewing Company no later than 11:15 am.
