Another branch of Nothing Bundt Cakes, a bakery specializing in the ring-shaped cakes, opens Memorial Day in Casa Linda Plaza at 9440 Garland Rd., Ste. 114, in an old nail salon.

Nothing Bundt Cakes offers a range of flavors and sizes, from single-serving cakes to larger Bundts that serve up to 18 people and tiered cakes that serve up to 26.

"We cannot wait to share our love of this cake with others and to see the expression of joy on faces as they taste our cakes," said manager Sherry Campbell, in a statement.

"We've learned that Bundt cakes hold a special place in the heart of consumers across the nation, as many folks can remember a loved one baking a special Bundt cake just for them," chimed in Dena Tripp, Nothing Bundt Cakes co-founder. "Our franchisees are not only an integral part our growth strategy, but they are also an integral part of connecting to the community through the love of the handmade Bundt cake."

Founded in 1997, Nothing Bundt Cakes is headquartered in Las Vegas. The new East Dallas location makes a total of 67 bakeries across 15 states. North Texas already has nine, including bakeries in Arlington, North Dallas, Flower Mound, Fort Worth, Frisco, McKinney, Plano, Rockwall and Southlake.
