This Week in Gluttony
DFW Restaurant Week 2014 and more top food events around town
The big news in food events is DFW Restaurant Week. Officially, it's August 11-17. But it might as well be called DFW Restaurant Month, with all the previews and extensions.
Reservations at the best restaurants fill up fast, but with a lengthy list of 130 or so participants all over Dallas-Fort Worth, you are bound to get in somewhere. If not this week, then perhaps the next. Or the next.
As for the rest of this week's food and drink events, there are some wine dinners and a beer-fueled fundraiser at Trinity Groves.
