Hello, gobble gobble and all that noise. Yes, it’s Thanksgiving week (and we have all your needs on that end), but that doesn’t mean your diet has to revolve strictly around stuffing and mashed potatoes and green beans and — oh, yeah, turkey.

There’s nothing wrong with that, per se, because well, all of those things are delicious. But the stomach wants what the stomach wants.

If your stomach wants something other than leftover cranberry-turkey-stuffing sandwiches, This Week in Gluttony has options. Like a stellar tap lineup at the Meddlesome Moth, or the ability to create and then eat tamales at Sur La Table, or even a wine dinner — shocking! — at Abacus.

Gentleman Jack Tasting at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle
Del Frisco’s Double Eagle hosts guests for seasonal cocktails featuring Gentleman Jack, the twice-filtered variety from Jack Daniels, beginning 5:30 pm. The tasting lasts through 7:30, after which you can stick around for a special dinner menu. The event is free and you can RSVP at shelly@dallashotelmagazine.com.

The Mothamorphosis
The Meddlesome Moth switches up its tap wall all week for the Mothamorphasis (except for Thanksgiving, when the restaurant is closed). The Moth is featuring some incredible beers, including 2012 Mephistopheles from Avery Brewing, 2011 Widdershins from Left Hand Brewing, Farking Wheaton w00tstout from Stone Brewing, and more. The Moth taps 2012 Bourbon Barrel The Temptress from Lakewood on Wednesday and cask-conditioned Sierra Nevada Celebration on Friday. It is also running its bottle cellar release through the end of the year, featuring 40 unique and rare beers.
