PilatesBarre opens new Dallas studio with splashy patron party
Nearly 100 Park Cities fitness enthusiasts made their way to Lovers Lane for the highly anticipated opening of the new PilatesBarre. Co-owners Meghann O’Leary and Lauren Sharng couldn’t wait to swing open the doors to the state-of-the-art studio, located across the street from Inwood Village.
Partygoers — including Paige Westhoff, George Brody, Lauren and Hunter Pond, Maleiah and Ryan Rogers, Emily and Hank Keller, Bess and Ted Enloe, Aimee Seguar, Shaun Urista, Jennifer and Kent Petty, and Sarah and Jon Bateman — snacked on appetizers from Shinsei while checking out the equipment, fashionable workout threads at ShopBarre, and fresh juices and teas at JuiceBarre.
In honor of a local Park Cities mom who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, the event supported the Methodist Hospital Mobile Mammogram Unit. PilatesBarre donated 20 percent of the evening’s ShopBarre sales to the unit, to help aid in early detection for uninsured and under-insured women.
