Behind the Curtain
Watch key performers bring crazy circus theme to life for DIFFA/Dallas
Every spring, the Dallas chapter of Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) hosts one of the most spectacular fundraisers of the year: House of DIFFA. The runway extravaganza never disappoints, with its mix of fabulous fashion and over-the-top theatrics, which always revolves around a theme.
For 2016, that theme is Circo Rouge, which a team of talented photographers, makeup artists, and producers interpreted for this year’s ad campaign. The shoot took place at Cedars Union last November, and we were there to watch the theme come to life and chat with the key players.
In this video, model Roxanna Redfoot and makeup artist Sara Domi talk about what it’s like to work with DIFFA/Dallas (spoiler alert: awesome) and be a part of the nonprofit’s important work to serve those living with or impacted by HIV/AIDS in North Texas.
House of DIFFA 2016: Circo Rouge takes place May 21, 6 pm, at Omni Dallas hotel. Get your tickets now, and we’ll see you at the show — along with 2,000 more of our fashionable and philanthropic friends.
