Fashionable Milestone
Pockets Menswear lures dapper dudes and gorgeous gals to 40th anniversary fete
To celebrate 40 years of serving the best-dressed Dallas men, Pockets Menswear welcomed customers and friends for a night of reflection, fashion and fun at its new storefront in the Plaza at Preston Center.
The highlight of the evening was hard to miss, because it was hanging in the window for all to see: The Dressing the Dallas Man Campaign is an impressive photography installation that pays tribute to various men who have shaped our community through contributions in the arts, business, food, fashion and philanthropy.
Honorees Charlie Price, Steve Wrubel, David Goltl, Matt Alexander, Julian Barsotti, Keith Conlon, David Smith and Chad Houser visited with friends — including Lucy Wrubel, Kristie Ramirez, Christine and Mark Danuser, and Jackson —who popped in the shop to congratulate the men and the store.
Wine, delicious bites and a big bowl of jelly beans (hey, it's the little things) were passed along with well wishes to carry this Dallas favorite through another 40 years.
