When the occasion calls for inspired attire, we know our city’s most fabulous philanthropists can deliver. Such was the case at the 2014 Art Ball at the Dallas Museum of Art, where attendees arrived wearing artful interpretations of the evening’s theme: 1920s Paris.
Though always elegant, the Art Ball is hardly stuffy, so we know to expect the unexpected. Although there was some stiff competition in the way of golden gals adorned with flutes of champagne, living artwork inspired by Picasso and Dalí, high-energy cancan dancers and a soulful performance by Grammy Award-winning crooner John Legend, memories of the best dressed in Dallas lingered in our minds far beyond the after-party.
From opulent in Oscar to sassy in Stella, here’s a look at our favorite belles — and a few beaus — of the ball.
