It's a fairly laid-back week on the food events front. You've basically got the whole week to prepare for an epic food festival, a fancy whiskey dinner, and a gorgeous garden tour. Be sure to save room for a sip or two of that sweet Celina wine.

Venues on the tour include Caudalie Crest Winery, Eden Hill Winery & Vineyard, a private home vineyard, and a trio of suburban-home gardens. An assortment of handcrafted foods, beverages, and products will be available for purchase at several of the venues. Tickets are $20, and the tour kicks off at 9 am.

Summer Sounds at Merchant House
Located in the upstairs lounge, dubbed the Trade Room, Merchant House presents live music on Saturday nights from 8-11 pm. What exactly is the Trade room? It is the Merchant House's version of an upscale speakeasy that is tucked away from the main dining area yet is connected to the outdoor patio that boats beautiful views of downtown. It's a great excuse to get out and listen to some good music on a Saturday night.
