TITAS demonstrates excellent technique at Command Performance gala
Hundreds of performing arts lovers packed Winspear Opera House for the 2014 Command Performance and La Fete du Ballet gala dinner presented by TITAS, where co-chairs Meaders Ozarow, Ann Margolin and Donna Wilhelm were waiting to welcome them.
The captivating performances ranged from classic pas de deux to awe-inspiring contemporary works performed by artists such as Agnés Letestu of Paris Opera Ballet, Paloma Herrera of American Ballet Theatre, Gonzalo Garcia of New York City Ballet and Ashley Ellis of Boston Ballet. After the show, guests — including Chuck Steelman, Michael Ginsberg, Lorri Mitchel, Clint Bradley, Darin Kunz, Angus Wynne and Anne Bothwell — gathered in the main lobby for a seated dinner, where they raised a glass to an unforgettable night of world-class entertainment.
TITAS reports that this was the most successful gala to date, and much of that is due to the tireless efforts of the co-chairs and their committee. Funds from the Command Performance and La Fete du Ballet support the organization in its mission to provide North Texas with the most extraordinary dance and music performers from around the world.
