Dallas Children's Advocacy Center Alliance mixes, mingles and plays Jenga at The Foundry
To rally prospective members of the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center Alliance young professionals group, more than 100 hot young philanthropists mixed and mingled at The Foundry.
With advocacy and supporting the fight against child abuse on their minds, devotees — Jana and Brad Parker, Jan Gibbons, Leslie Johnson, Brittany Aston and Mary Anne Godines — sipped on mixed drinks and bites courtesy of Chicken Scratch, as the Royal Beat Downs performed old-school hits in the background.
Though a cluster of party goers chilled inside, DCAC president and CEO Lynn Davis, Alliance president Pete Yunyongying, Cathy Susie, Stephen Marley, Heather Emmanuel, CullenSchaar and Amanda Alvarez-Dieppa (who we caught playing with the oversized Jenga set) remained outside.
In its second year, the DCAC Alliance group allows members to hear first-hand from experts in the field of child abuse and participate in hands-on projects at the Center. Members are also entitled to discounts on tickets to DCAC's signature events including Appetite for Advocacy, Art for Advocacy and Encore for Advocacy.
Empowering more people to do good is right up our alley, and we'll never say no to a beer with that.
