Fantastically funny Bette Midler to headline major Dallas fundraiser
Those planning to attend the Woman to Woman Luncheon, a major fundraiser for Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas, better be prepared for an afternoon of laughter.
The incomparable Bette Midler is coming to Dallas as keynote speaker for the biannual event, which is set for May 1, 2014, at Hyatt Regency Hotel. Co-chairs Linda Garner, Beth Konig, Sheryl Pidgeon, Laurie Platt and Cindy Ray Yablonsky have been working tirelessly to ensure it is an afternoon to remember.
There isn't an award the Divine Miss M hasn't won. In her 40 years on the scene, she has racked up four Grammys, four Golden Globes, three Emmys and a Tony. The performer is passionate about helping Jewish Family Service raise financial support for its professional, mental health and social services.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Woman to Woman Luncheon celebrates the power and impact of women in the greater Dallas community while providing substantial support for programs and services for anyone in need — regardless of age, race, religion, ethnicity or the ability to pay for as long as needed.
Last year the Jewish Family Service staff touched the lives of more than 10,000 individuals through wraparound services that are available on a sliding-fee scale.
