Design Milestone
Chic showroom celebrates 4 decades of fabulous in Dallas Design District
Dallas Design Center showroom Culp Associates recently welcomed friends and fans to celebrate its 40th anniversary — a major milestone in this sometimes fickle city. For four decades Culp has helped outfit Dallas’ best addresses with fashion-forward textiles, wall coverings and home furnishings.
To mark the occasion, guests — including Madeline Morales, Vanesa Herrera, Jon Smither, Kristy and Paul Tagur, T.J. Terrel, Courtney Cataltano, and Geoffrey Woodrum — joined president and owner Kelly Hardage for a toast and some tunes by (aptly named for the season) Jolie Holliday.
Whether it’s Clarence House, Gregorius Pineo or Samuel & Sons, this 32,000-square-foot showroom houses some of the finest home and design lines available.
“We have had the good fortune of working with the finest textile and furniture manufacturers that exist anywhere in the world,” Hardage said. “These are wonderful, long-standing partnerships. On top of that, we have had 40 years of working with the most talented group of designers in the country. What more could anyone ask for?”
As for future plans, the Dallas showroom is all set for now. But in 2014, renovations begin on Culp Associates’ Houston location. In addition to remodeling the existing space, 3,000 square feet will be added to accommodate expanded furniture collections.
