Holiday Shopping for a Cause
Philanthropic Dallas shoppers get first dibs at Chi Omega Christmas Market preview
Thousands of Dallas shoppers headed to Centennial Hall in Fair Park to welcome the holiday season properly by taking on the Chi Omega Christmas Market. The lucky ones, however, got to attend an exclusive preview party, which took place on the eve of the market's opening.
Event chairs Ashley Chapel and Beth Arnold welcomed guests to Chi Omega's winter wonderland, featuring more than 165 handpicked vendors from around the country.
Guests — including Carol and Jeff Heller, Charlotte Carter, Kathy Henry, Ellen and Gary Cozart, John Arnold, Dee Carter, and Bitsy Carter — wasted no time strolling the massive selection of jewelry, home accents, women’s fashion, toys, holiday décor and more. And you know the Chi O's are always on the hunt for pieces donning an owl.
And what exactly are the girls giving this year? The Chi Omega Christmas Market has pledged $205,000 to various North Texas organizations. This year marks 36 years of giving, because we all know that that is the most rewarding gift of all.
