We can always count on the Dallas social set to pull out all the stops, style-wise, before painting the town. These are some of our favorite looks from the most fashionable and philanthropic events of 2013.
Vivian Lombardi at House of DIFFA
Marie Antoinette-inspired fashions and burlesque dancers couldn't distract us from the beauty of Vivian Lombardi (pictured here with her restaurateur husband, Alberto) at Dallas' most over-the-top fundraising gala.
Jennifer Karol at Untitled: Art Ball 2013
Although co-chair Catherine Rose is simply stunning in a classic red gown, we are still obsessed with co-chair Jennifer Karol's metallic dress with plunging neckline that leaves just enough to the imagination.
In a sea of Alexander McQueen, Dell stood out in this playful, patterned frock, which gave the 10 best dressed nominees a run for their money.
Brian Bolke at Two x Two for AIDS and Art
This fashion visionary (pictured here with Faisal Halum) is anything but conservative when it comes to clothes. We got a jolt from the suit he wore to this year's Two x Two.
Ariel Saldivar at Bespoke
This is not your basic little black dress, and that's precisely why we love it. Saldivar called her look — a vintage Jean-Paul Gaultier silk and patent leather frock paired with Walter Steiger heels — "punk rock with a little bit of dominatrix in there."
Kira Plastinina at LUBLU grand opening
This young designer was the belle of her own ball when Lublu opened its fashionable doors at the Plaza at Preston Center. In this exquisite white gown, Plastinina showed everyone that she's as hot as her designs.
DIFFA darling (pictured here with husband Jason) knows how to stand out in a stylish crowd. With her hair piled high on her head, the brunette bombshell said to heck with dresses and hello to heels and a sleek pant suit for the opening of Dior in Highland Park Village.
Jamie O'Banion at Rag & Bone
O'Banion sported head-to-toe Rag & Bone for an event at the new Highland Park Village location. She even brought her kiddos along to prove that she is the hottest mama in Big D.
Stacey Girard at Celebrity Waiter Luncheon
Thanks to this sexy electric orange number by Victoria Beckham, Girard (pictured here with Ron Corning) stole the spotlight from the high-profile waitstaff at the Celebrity Waiter Luncheon.
Sheryl Maas at Dallas Art Fair preview gala
This lady about town (pictured here with husband Eric and John Runyon) always shows up impeccably dressed, but we never forgot how she rocked this cropped leather top during the sneak peek gala for the fifth annual Dallas Art Fair at Fashion Industry Gallery.
Nancy Carlson at TACA Auction Gala
A fixture on the Dallas philanthropy scene, Nancy Carlson (pictured here with husband Clint) always manages to stand out. For the TACA Auction Gala she did it three ways: with a short, flirty skirt; bold red color choice; and dynamite heels.
Barbara Daseke at Dallas Symphony Orchestra Gala
Barbara and Don Daseke remain one of Dallas' most well-dressed couples. But we have to single out Barbara for the simple yet sensational number with bold fuchsia skirt she wore to the DSO gala.
Rhonda Sargent Chambers at FGI Night of Stars Gala
Sheer but not revealing. Contemporary yet classic. Bold red handbag. Rhonda Sargent Chambers (pictured here with husband Kit) dressed the part for the annual Dallas gala honoring the stars of the fashion industry.
Shelby Wagner and Niven Morgan at TACA Auction Gala
How can we choose between these two elegantly dressed gentlemen? Both remind us all that one can never go wrong with a classic black tux — especially for an affair at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek.
Katherine Coker at Dallas Opera First Night
Our lady in red is Katherine Coker (pictured here with husband Key) in this exquisite trumpet gown that hugged her in all the right places. This look was worthy of the red carpet at the opening-night gala for the Dallas Opera.
Ceron and Todd Fiscus at Chanel Metiers d'Art
Does this picture even need a caption? These dapper gents exude pure fabulousness. Ceron went for a more modern look, while Fiscus kept it classic as they posed for the cameras at Karl Lagerfeld's fashion spectacle at Fair Park.
Bradley Agather Means at Bonjour Ya'll
This stylesetter (center) always makes a splash on the scene. Means (pictured here with Kimberly Whitman and Alexandra Williamson) put on her Calypso St. Barth party pants and Tasha Tarno vest for this fashion fete at Forty Five Ten, one of the many festivities surrounding the Chanel Metiers d'Art.
Renee Rouleau at Alive for 35
The skincare guru (pictured here with Florian Oger) stepped out in an abstract top, skinny black pants, and fabulous and funky neon kicks for the 35th anniversary party for the Dallas Contemporary. She fit right in with the art.
Pat McEvoy at Crystal Charity Ball
McEvoy was a vision in white with this . A chic cropped white coat kept her warm in the ice storm.
