Only at the Ritz
A feast for the eyes: Young (and hot) Texans Against Cancer sip, sparkle andsmile for Bubbly Q
If you forgot to send in your reply card to attend the Young Texans Against Cancer Bubbly Q, you’re probably still regretting it. More than 450 hot young professionals — YTAC supporters and trendsetters alike — descended on the Ritz-Carltonfor the fifth annual fete.
Event chair Holly Hardison Price, YTAC Dallas president Catharine Flagg and vice president Garrett Holloway collaborated with chef Dean Fearing to create an unforgettable night. But if attendees cannot recall the details (for obvious reasons), they can glance at their photo booth snapshot.
The courtyard of Fearing’s was bustling with scenesters sipping on craft cocktails — courtesy of Eddie “Lucky” Campbell — and bubblies. DJ Jose G was mixing up tunes while social butterflies tasted bites from some of our city’s best restaurants, including Komali and Salum, Nonna, Nobu, Neighborhood Services, Pappas Bros Steakhouse, Stephan Pyles, Eatzi's, Private Social, Five Sixty, Central Market, and, of course, Fearing’s. In addition to the cheese smorgasbord from Central Market, Abraham Salum’s street corn, with cream, queso fresco and a squeeze of lime, helped rock our night.
Inside, an elaborate silent auction included fantastic items ranging from jewelry and art to sports and travel packages. Between the fancy drinks, upbeat entertainment and beautiful people, all eyes were glowing. Props to Price, Fearing and the YTAC team for pulling off a sexy soiree for a great cause.
Seen on the scene: Jessica and Michael Barrett, Andy Rieger, Lucy Herman, Ben Price, Maggie Flagg, Laura Noble, Donovan Marchard, Sarah and Will Groves, Jenifer Strauss, Matt Cain, and Krystal Schlegel.
