On a chilly fall night, there's nothing like warming up with some red wine and juicy burgers. And that's precisely what DIFFA supporters did at the beautiful home of Anne and Steve Stodghill, during the fourth annual Burgers & Burgundy fundraiser hosted by chef John Tesar of soon-to-open Spoon.

Upon arrival, guests — including LeeAnne Locken, Kandis and Bill Hutchinson, Darin Kunz, Donny Graneto, Mark StaffordPeter DautermanCarmaleta WhiteleyJay BillingsleyParris RigbyGreg Ranallo, Chuck Steelman, and Scott Kehn — made their way to the backyard and beelined it for the bars. Then, wine in hand, they proceeded to the burger stations.

Among the chefs flipping burgers were Tiffany Derry of Private Social, who did a Chinese barbecue short rib burger; Patton Robertson of Five Sixty, who prepared a lamb burger; Dan Landsberg and Bradford Hodgkins of Dragonfly, who did brisket and bacon sliders; Scott Romano, who made an Asian BBQ burger; Sharon van Meter of 3015 at Trinity Groves, who prepared a honey pecan chicken burger; and Tesar, who made catfish sloppy Joes.

While sating the palates of devotees, event chairs Justin W. Bundick and Jim DiMarino and DIFFA Dallas chairman of the board Clint Bradley basked in the success of the decadent fundraising fete for HIV/AIDS awareness and education.
