There's no comparable deed to turning a negative into a positive — especially through the spirit of lovely young ladies. Modern Luxury Dallas recently announced its Fresh Faces of Fashion 2013, which benefits the Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas.

These beautiful young altruists are dedicated to supporting the SCC, which helps those in crisis find hope for the future. They will be featured in the magazine, walk in a fashion show and help raise funds for the nonprofit.

"The first year, fun, fashion, gourmet dining and suicide was quite an unlikely combo," said event chair Yvonne Crum. "The truth is [the event] is not about suicide but suicide prevention and hope for those left behind. No longer do attendees question what we're doing."

With a number like 492 lives lost in the past year due to suicide in the Dallas area, the efforts of these fresh faces does not go unnoticed.

The following ladies were selected by Modern Luxury Dallas readers for the Fresh Faces of Fashion 2013:

  • Haley Anderson
  • Nicole Barrett
  • Peyton Blackwell
  • Paige Hardison
  • Bailey Harrison
  • Bentley Hill
  • Nicole Stewart
  • Jessica Jones
  • Cristina Lynch
  • Maddy McKinley
  • Priya Bhola Rathod
  • Rachel Riley
  • Melody Rogers

Save the date: The fashion show falls on Friday, March 22, 2013, at Stanley Korshak.
