New Dallas fashion line launches with big-splash show by top producer
Chantilly Dallas co-founders Caitlyn Mullanix and Chelsea Brogden hope to give Dallas women more of what they want, fashion-wise. The duo launched their debut collection for new line Tinsley Radix recently, and they enlisted fashion show extraordinaire Rhonda Sargent Chambers of RSC Show Productions to help them make a splash.
Amy Vanderoef played emcee for the evening, and DJ Lucy Wrubel provided the soundtrack as Mullanix and Brogdon introduced their designs, which incorporate prints and fabrics that reflect their experiences growing up in Texas, Georgia and New Mexico. The girls say this first collection is inspired by the “collision of both industrial and elegance.”
The gowns, many in jewel tones, are overtly feminine, and we expect to see at least a few at Dallas’ upcoming social functions. One standout has an elegant ball skirt in a floral pattern, with pops of fuchsia and teal on a charcoal gray background. Tinsley Radix does ready-to-wear as well as custom couture.
Among those in attendance at the Chandelier Room were Amber LaFrance, Andre Yabin, Carinthia Kishaba, Chuck Steelman, Holly Haber, Amber and John Kolinofsky, Leah Frazier, Lisa Petty, Linden Wilson, and Shannon Yoachum.
