1. Surprises lurk inside the stately Park Cities home of Dallas Star Kari Lehtonen. Real Estate rabble-rouser Candy Evans recently perused 3230 Bryn Mawr Dr., home of Dallas Stars goaltender Kari Lehtonen. From the street, Lehtonen's pad looks like a perfectly proportioned Georgian fit for a president. Inside, it is full of surprises.
2. Sean Lowe does the unthinkable when The Bachelor heads to Thailand. During the overnight-dates episode, all the girls pretend to worry about the fantasy suite, but they all say yes in the end, of course. That Sean. He’s a gentleman. He just wants to stay up and talk.
3. Cafe Lago in East Dallas finally closes via dramatic email. Owner Gabriela Kovacic had threatened to close repeatedly over the past few years, most notably in 2011, when she announced that she was looking for a buyer. But she was unable to find a satisfactory offer.
4. Dallas guy and reality TV villain Alex Stein on being evil incarnate and Whataburger vs. In-N-Out. Highland Park High School graduate Alex Stein initially entered pop culture as the contestant everyone loves to hate on ABC’s The Glass House in 2012. After a stand-up comedy stint, Prime Time No. 99 Stein is back in the world of reality TV as part of Bobby Flay’s team on Food Network’s Worst Cooks in America. Episodes air Sundays at 8 pm.
5. Bullets found at Highland Park High School put campus on lockdown. A box of .22-caliber shells were the latest strike in a series of escalating actions at the school. There have been half a dozen threats against the school in 2013, and police have twice combed school grounds for weapons or bombs. Recently, the FBI joined the investigation. On March 1, Crimestoppers announced a $10,000 reward for information related to the incidents.
