Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will cap a stellar musical lineup for the 2014 NCAA March Madness Music Festival, a three-day event taking place in Dallas from April 4-6 in conjunction with the 2014 NCAA Men’s Final Four.

Other performers on the bill include Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, The Killers and Fun, with additional performers still to be announced.

The festival will be held at Reunion Park, the burned-out ground where Reunion Arena once stood. It's a free, non-ticketed event that is open to the public on a first-come basis. The site holds between 30,000 and 40,000 people; organizer Turner Live Events anticipates huge crowds.

The schedule breaks down as follows:

Friday, April 4, 4:30-10:30 pm
AT&T Block Party, with headliner country star Jason Aldean

Saturday, April 5, noon-9 pm
Coke Zero Countdown Concert, with headliners Tim McGraw (afternoon lineup with a live broadcast of the first semi-final game) and rock band The Killers (evening lineup following the live broadcast)

Sunday, April 6, 2-10:30 pm
Capital One JamFest, with Fun and Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band

Aldean and McGraw will be back in Dallas this summer as part of the Country Megaticket series at Gexa Pavilion. McGraw performs August 8; Aldean hits the stage October 25.

"Throughout Final Four weekend in North Texas, fans can enjoy unique and interactive experiences courtesy of AT&T at both the March Madness Music Festival and Bracket Town," said Jamie Kerr, director of AT&T corporate sponsorships.

The 2014 NCAA semifinals will also air on three networks: TBS, TNT and truTV. CBS will broadcast the championship game.

The appearance by Springsteen and the E Street Band precedes a national tour that begins on April 8 in Cincinnati. The last time Springsteen performed in Dallas was in 2008 at American Airlines Center.

This is the first NCAA Men's Final Four in North Texas in 28 years. Past performers at the festival have included Sting, Dave Matthews Band, Muse, Jimmy Buffett, KISS and others.
