Haute Happy Hour
Hot young professionals mix it up at first-ever CultureMap Social
Hundreds of young professionals had NYLO Dallas South Side buzzing at the inaugural CultureMap Social happy hour. Never missing a chance to sip drinks and snack on chic bites with friends, the crowd enthusiastically browsed designer duds at the Roving Style pop-up shop and painted personalized masterpieces with Pinot's Palette.
There may or may not have been a slew of artwork floating around Instagram last night, and we must admit, we are impressed.
Attendees — including J.B. Hayes, Jackson, Johnathan Brownlee, Courtney Kerr, Stuart Boslow, Keith Collins, Robert Wallace, Taylor Leibson, Scott Baker, Linda Snorina and Sinan Gurman — navigated their way through the happy hour in perfect stride, mingling and enjoying ice-cold beer from Franconia Brewing Company and Harpoon Brewery. Adventurous party goers took the elevator to NYLO Soda Bar to check out the "pinch me this is beautiful" view from the rooftop, and we'd highly suggest you do the same at some point.
While the event may have looked to simply be about luxurious fellowship, there was a deeper meaning. CultureMap was proud to partner with Wilkinson Center Young Friends, American Red Cross Young Professionals Auxiliary and Young Texans Against Cancer to help raise awareness about YP groups in Dallas.
"The venue and the vivacious crowd were great," said Christina Dandar with Young Texans Against Cancer. "I really enjoyed learning more about the charity partners, too."
Although the event was scheduled from 6-8 pm, these YP's were still going strong when the event was technically finished. Coveted swagbag's filled with goodies from — Aftershock London, Lombardi Family Concepts, Rye 51: Textile Distillery, Sprinkles Cupcakes, The Hair Bar and Q Clothier — were the only real incentive for folks to finally say goodbye.
