Victory Park Upgrade
Step inside the ridic multimillion-dollar renovation at W Dallas-Victory hotel
After six years, Victory Park anchor hotel W Dallas-Victory recently underwent a multimillion-dollar facelift. All 252 guest rooms — including 26 suites — and the hotel corridors got a few necessary nips and tucks. The resulting accommodations are suited to both the masculine modern cowboy and the feminine Southern belle.
Houston-based design firm MaRS executed a cowboy-cool vision with jewel-toned hardware; Texas-inspired sculpture; and accents of cowhide, snakeskin and armadillo skin. Guest rooms are newly outfitted with custom furniture, from platform beds, headboards and side tables to sofas, dining and coffee tables, and desks. Each room also has a new W Bed mattress to ensure that everyone gets the best night’s sleep.
W Dallas restyled all nine room types, including the 1,323-square-foot Extreme Wow Suite located on the 15th floor overlooking Victory Park and downtown Dallas.
“As a cutting-edge lifestyle brand, we’ve invigorated the space to improve the guest experience while amplifying the Southern aesthetic our visitors have come to know,” said general manager Darryl Jett in a statement.
The Dallas hotel redo is part of a larger effort to reimagine 11 properties in its North American portfolio.
