Ring Those Bells
Echelon DFW shows doing the most good is also the most fun during Red Kettle season
What: Echelon Red Kettle campaign kickoff weekend
Where: The Rustic, Carr P. Collins Social Service Center, West Village
The 411: Each year Echelon members ring the bell as part of the Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign. To get the fundraising started, the group hosted a Ring the Bell happy hour at The Rustic, where YPs signed up for their time slots. "The Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign is an iconic tradition for the holiday season for both those giving their time and for those in our community who benefit from these donations," said Echelon DFW co-president Meredith Counce. "All the dollars raised here in DFW stay here, so it's incredibly special to see that impact."
On Sunday, these philanthropic young professionals went to Carr P. Collins Social Service Center, where they served food to the community. You can catch them ringing their bells in West Village throughout the month of December.
