Mud is the story of two friends who stumble upon the hiding place of charismatic outlaw Mud (Matthew McConaughey), who takes a quick liking to the boys and recruits them to his cause: the search for true love and a clean getaway. But all may not be as it seems, and the film becomes an adventure for all involved.
