Some of the nation’s top visual artists will present their work at the prestigious Cottonwood Art Festival in Richardson. You can purchase one-of-a-kind pieces of art while enjoying food, music and other activities. One of the best parts of the festival for children is the exciting ArtStop area, where they can create their first canvas masterpiece or experiment with a potter’s wheel, perhaps composing a mini-masterpiece for their parents for Mother’s Day or Father’s Day.

The ArtStop interactive children’s area offers a chance to experience the wonderful world of art firsthand. Complete with life-size paintbrushes and staffed by more than 100 volunteers, ArtStop offers dozens of activities for children and their families to encourage imaginations to run wild. 

The free event will exhibit the museum-quality work of 240 artists in a range of categories including painting, photography and ceramics.
