The Crape Myrtle Trails of McKinney Foundation will present the annual Crape Myrtle Run 10K, 5K, 1-Mile Fun Run and Free Family Festival featuring very fast timed and USATF-certified courses.

The family festival will also feature a world-class petting zoo, face-painting, inflatable obstacle course, photo booth, music, entertainment, contests, and prizes. Grab a prize for Best Chicken Dancer, Best Pig Costume, Best Runner Costume, or Best Overall Costume. The highly competitive Top School Award is going to the top three schools, regardless of location, with the most registered runners. The top school gets bragging rights, a trophy and watches their principal kiss Myrtle the Pig.
