Shakespeare McKinney provides residents and businesses with an opportunity to show their support for the local arts community, including theatre, dance, music, and visual arts, at the celebration of culture, creativity, and community.

The event will highlight Shakespeare's work and the artistry of the days of old. Shakespeare’s work comes to life through presentations, adaptations, and modernized renditions of his repertoire performed on the MainStage. The event will feature the talent of local theatre companies, including Out of Line Concepts, McKinney’s Young Actor’s Guild, and The Gorilla Theatre Players.

There will be multiple other stages of entertainment, as well as street performers and visual artists, a variety of food truck options, a vendor market, and a kids zone.

Shakespeare McKinney is a non-profit organization focused on collaborating with various performing and visual artists and arts organizations in a positive, supportive and inclusive environment in order for them to receive well-deserved recognition and reward.
