The City of Carrollton will present the third annual Ghost Town event. Guests can embark on a scavenger hunt for ghosts, grab some candy, enjoy spooky music spun by a live DJ, make a craft or two, watch a Halloween movie, and pick up a free mini pumpkin. Pumpkins will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.]
The more adventurous can scavenge for hidden ghosts amid a graveyard-like setting and stores around the Square. Participants will follow clues throughout the area, find each ghost, take the ghost’s picture, and present their findings. Collect photos of all the ghosts and receive a spooky treat. Kids will also be able to create a Halloween-themed craft with all supplies provided and ending when the movie begins.
After the costume contest, guests stick around for some trivia on Halloween movies and stay for a showing of the classic Hocus Pocus, a story of a new kid in town, Max, who struggles to fit in and inadvertently unleashes three, long dead but diabolical, witches on All Hallows Eve in Salem, Massachusetts.
