Giddens Gallery of Fine Art in Grapevine will present Rosemary Riddle-Achelpohl: "Indigo." Indigo is the color that changed the world. Isaac Newton named and defined it when he divided the spectrum. It’s a heady mix between violet and blue. Having recently discovered this color, Riddle-Achelpohl has been creating new works exploring the many moods of indigo. They are vibrant like Monet’s Mediterranean seas, and haunting as nighttime skies.
The exhibit will be on view February 28 through March 9.
