The Greyhound Adoption League of Texas has found homes for over 3200 Greyhounds and Sighthounds since 2001. They are an all-volunteer non-profit, and have events to raise awareness about the adoption and fostering of these great dogs. The medical costs of the dogs in their care prior to adoption averages $1000 a day. This event helps raise awareness, raise some funds, and help adopt more Greyhounds to support their mission of "No Grey Turned Away."
