Klyde Warren Park will present their Tree Lighting Celebration, a festive day of activities and entertainment including photos with Santa, story time with Mrs. Claus, face painting, crafts, games and snow flurries. The day culminates with a live show featuring performances of holiday music, visits from Santa’s friends Frosty and Rudolph and Klyde Warren Park’s annual tree lighting.
At Klyde Warren Park's Tree Lighting Celebration, Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson is joining Santa for the honors of lighting the iconic holiday symbol. “The Mayor’s Tree” stands 48 feet tall, weighs almost 5,000 lbs. and will display 37,520 multi-colored LED lights and 3,836 multicolored ornaments. It will be positioned on the south end of Hart Boulevard, the Park’s main pedestrian thoroughfare, through January 9, 2023.
