Musical worlds collide when the Plano Civic Chorus joins forces with Monroe Crossing. The concert will highlight a recent work by composer, Carol Barnett, entitled "The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass."
The concert will also feature Shawn Kirchner’s "Heavenly Home: Three American Songs." Kirchner captures the essence of bluegrass in his choral arrangements and his music will complement the unique bluegrass stylings of Monroe Crossing.
The performance on October 13 will be at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, while the performance on October 14 will be at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church.
