Voices of Change will present a concert highlighting the work of Houston composer Pierre Jalbert and featuring Street Antiphons, a work commissioned by Voices of Change in collaboration with the Boston Chamber Music Society. The two ensembles worked together to fund the creation of Street Antiphons and both ensembles have received exclusive rights to premiere the work. Other works on the program include Maurice Ravel’s Sonata for Violin and Cello, William Bolcom’s Ghost Rags, Tilmann Dehnhard’s Wake Up! for piccolo and alarm clock, and Jaques Ibert’s Five Pierces for Trio for oboe, clarinet, and bassoon.
