Nomad Bar
Nomad Bar is a renovated North Austin neighborhood hangout. The bar's interior is a minimalist sleek gray, but Nomad's real stand out offering is its large, fenced-in dog friendly patio. Servers seem genuinely happy to be there and will actually come to you to refill your drinks.
The Nomad does indeed serve food, but consider it more an accoutrement to your beverage than a hearty meal. Each night of the week there is some form of promotion, but the best are the nights the Grill Girls sling steaks and burgers on the patio and the Sunday brunches with $10 bottomless mimosas.
