Times Ten Cellars

Tucked away in a former post office building on a Lakewood side street, Times Ten Cellars is a winery as well as a coveted neighborhood bar. Several California wines are made on-site, including Paso Robles Zinfandel and Grenache, but it’s the Texas-grown Cathedral Mountain Tempranillo that makes Time Ten Cellars a must for wine lovers. Not only is the wine blended in the building, but owners Kert Platner and Rob Wilson grow the grapes in Alpine, Texas. The result is a delicious, hearty red that you’ll order by the bottle – and buy a few to take home. Tours are given upon request.
In addition to the own wine blended on site, Times Ten Cellars offers another Texas winery fave—McPherson Cellars. Try the Viognier, a fragrant white, or Tre Coloré, an easy-drinking red blend.
