Although the Dallas Convention Center has been around since the ’70s, the addition of the Omni Dallas Hotel in 2011 has given it new life. Formerly a concert venue, the Dallas Convention Center now plays host to groups such as the Junior Olympics and the Great American Trucking Show and brings in visitors from all across the globe.
