Dallas' first Latin Fusion restaurant specializing in made-to-order arepas is open at the southwest corner of Preston Road and Royal Lane. Arepa (Spanish pronunciation: [aˈɾepa]) is a type of food made of ground maize dough or cooked flour prominent in the cuisine of Colombia and Venezuela. It is eaten daily in those countries and can be served with accompaniments such as cheese (cuajada), avocado, or split to make sandwiches. Arepa TX fuses flavors from around the world to create authentic and original arepas with a Texas flair. The entire menu is vegan-friendly, and most items are gluten-free.
