Blue Ribbon Barbecue
Three generations of passionate BBQ chefs led to the creation of downtown's Blue Ribbon Barbecue, one of the newest contenders in the city's quest for the best BBQ. It's at the base of the Frost Tower, which is a bit strange for a barbeque joint, but the interior and the smells will transport you far away from the city in an instant. The brisket and the ribs are just like Texans love them: fatty and rubbed full with spices. Home cooked sides like green beans, potato salad and corn are warm and buttery, rich with flavor.
